Ok here folks, hold your raving reviews. Here is my disclaimer so we all can still be "respectful"... Actually, no thanks... I will give it to you straight. Service: Marginal, at best. Nice girl, little attention to detail and missed big things like sides, details about up charges for bacon, yes, they up charge you $2.95 for three minimal and LIMP pieces of bacon. America's staple meat, folks. Minus one star. I hate end of meal ticket receipt surprises, and I'm sure you do too. Minus another star. The food: Oh boy, grab your cup of coffee and get ready to wait. My friend and I got the country breakfast, I added a pancake for some extra love on a great sunny Arkansas Saturday morning. My grits were a thimble amount of lukewarm chunky grits. My prebirds (eggs) were cooked as requested. And my croissant was standard issue, pretty sure it was hit with 30 seconds in the microwave before hitting the playing field. My bacon was 10 minutes late, and the ONLY saving grace was my pancake. Minus two stars. The ONLY good thing: ladies you will like this... The Mimosas. We got a bottle and boy o boy were we glad we made that leap of faith. The only reason for a star. My $9.00 Ihop breakfast cost me $27.00 before tip. Oh and the bottle of bubbly was $22, which we split three ways. So grab your T.I. 83 plus and add that up. Save your breakfast dignity, save your time, save your money, don't come here.

My brother and I went here for breakfast back at the beginning of summer. As I write this I am not sure whether to give this place 2 or 3 stars...so I will leave it at 2 and let you the reader decide if I am being overly judgmental. So we arrive on a Saturday morning...it's not quite super hot outside, but it is super crowded inside, so we opt for a patio table. (warning to people who prefer a little distance between tables, the tables are really close together and with all of them full, it is pretty loud and clangy in the dining room) We luck out and are seated in the shade. We sit down and the waitress, who was super nice comes and takes our drink order. We order two coffees. She comes back with two coffees, no sugar, no creamer. I hate when I have to ask for things like that (you know, things that typically come WITH coffee). So she returns with creamers and that's all and leaves. Whatever. I see a container of sweeteners on another table and grab those. The waitress comes back to take our order. I order an omelet, my brother orders the shrimp and grits. There is a fair wait for our food, nothing crazy. Our food comes and my plate is huge and looks great. My brother's dish looks like it is supposed to be a joke. It was the size of a lean cuisine. On top of that, the tiny serving of grits were cold. My brother is very disturbed by this, as they are in the neighborhood of $12 -$13. The waitress comes back and he explains that the grits are cold and that he isn't satisfied with his dish. (Maybe they gave him a 1/2 order? Because I know The Red Door is one of those places that offer that option?) Anyhoo, he sent his dish back and he ordered a duplicate of what I ordered (cheese omelet with potatoes and a croissant). We wait and wait. I tried not to eat while he was waiting for his dish, but finally I gave up and ate all I could from my plate and then handed it over to my brother - whose dish never came. Finally the manager came out and comped our meal...which is where I am torn about the experience. At least the manager did try to make it right. (but not A-okay right) Finally, we have to tell our waitress to just make my brother's order to go, because now we need to leave. Eventually, an hour after my brother sent his original dish back, his order is brought to our table. Our food was free, but I still left a $20 for the waitress, I just was worried that it would come out of her pocket...she really was sweet, just not maybe the best waitress in the world. I don't know that I would go back to The Red Door, it just wasn't and hasn't been that magical for me. Other times I have been there I have ordered Bloody Marys and have been disappointed by the quality as well as the size of the drinks. Other issues that seem to be constant with every visit is the slowness of the service. Maybe it is the way they have their kitchen area setup? I really don't know? Also, I must point out something that seems to be increasingly common here in Little Rock and that is waiters with beards. If you are a waiter with a beard, please wear a hair net on your face hair!!! I have nothing against your beard, I just don't like your face hair in my food. There were beards a plenty carrying food to customers at The Red Door. FYI.

The special I had was Italian trio. Great! Wife had grouper. Might have been better than mine. Dessert was bread pudding. Must save room for. Will come back every time I'm in town.

Sadly I can only offer a review on horrible customer service. Hubby and I came today for the first time and was told there was a 30 minute wait although we saw empty tables inside and no one in the waiting area but us. We would have waited at the bar and spent money on drinks but instead of actually having a bar you could sit at and have drinks they have some kind of display of assorted jars of something....jams maybe. We then asked if we could sit outside and if they would turn the heater on (unseasonably cool weather this weekend). The hostess said she would have to ask the manager. She came back very quickly saying that it was a kitchen wait, that they were just too busy today. Apparently so busy they didn't need my money. Dear Manager..the correct response might have been that you could seat us on the patio or at one of the empty tables inside and let us know it would be a 30 minute wait because the kitchen was super busy. You would have still made money on drinks and then breakfast. If this is an example of fine customer service, I won't be back.

Red door doesn't have a red front door; but there is a red door hanging from the ceiling inside the restaurant. Door business aside... here was my experience: 3 friends and I went for an early dinner on a Friday night, and we were immediately seated. We ordered the spinach dip and brushetta(sp?) for appetizers... both were AMAZING!! For dinner I had the vegetable plate, basically you choose four sides as a meal. I chose brown sugar glazed sweet potatoes, Tuscan white beans, sauteed vegetables, and mac-n-cheese. HOLY CRAP, best mac-n-cheese everrrrr! I want to go back here just for the mac and cheese and the sweet potatoes. I have already asked Jesus to have some of these sweet potatoes in my mansion in heaven. I loved my food. Loved it. All my friends also enjoyed their food. I knocked Red Door one star because the service was slow. I expected the slow service because I read other reviews that talked about it, but still gotta knock it. Hope to try breakfast here soon!

My husband and I ate here Saturday night with a couple of friends. We left absolutely stuffed. We usually don't order an appetizer, main meal and dessert; but everything sounded too good to pass up. It was not a disappointment. The Fried Mac n Cheese balls were heavenly. I had salmon, which was also very good as well as the dark chocolate creme brûlée. Yummmmm.

My bride visited this restaurant on a Sunday at 5PM after visiting the Presidential library. Stephan gave them prompt courteous service. The meal was excellent, especially the expertly cooked rib eye steak. She liked it so well that she brought a magazine ad she cut out for me and my customers. I am going to personally experience it on July 9!

We went on a Saturday morning for brunch. Three of us, sat in the bar area. We split the Mimosa special. $16 for a bottle of champagne. Wes, our server, was excellent. Went with his recommendation of: chicken and waffles (yes, this is real. I've had them several places now. Always good!) the southwest skillet, lobster and crab eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits. We put it all in the middle and ate family style. Everything was delicious. Eggs Benedict and the cheese grits were probably the best. Definitely worth the trip!

Had dinner for the first time here. The food was excellent. Had the Angus filet. Cooked perfectly. Great cut. Service was poor. Restaurant was empty and they sat us near the porous glass doors coldest seat in the house. Had to move. Next waitress was never to be around. Her boyfriend (or whatever) came in and started kissing her. And watching over her. That guy needs to leave. She spent more time with him than her customers. Also, every employee there huddle together and BS'd relentlessly near the hostess. Better luck next time...Not!!

While in Little Rock for some friends' wedding, we decided to have brunch. After googling, yelping, and researching, we settled upon the Red Door. I didn't have a brunch drink for some reason. I almost got the Sangria, but for some reason I didn't. They also have bacon bloody marys, which sound good. I don't know why I didn't indulge, but I didn't. Next time, I will rectify this situation. I chose the country breakfast, which came with two eggs that I ordered over easy. I also chose stone ground cheese grits over the potatoes. For my meat, I chose the bacon. For my bread, I chose a cathead biscuit. I also had a side of their creamy gravy to dip my biscuit in. I loved my food so much that I basically licked my plate clean. I recommend this place if you are in Little Rock! My meal was about $8. They also serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Having lived in Little Rock for many years I have been to multiple incarnations of the restaurant where Red Door is. I have yet to try Red Door until today, and opted to try their raved about Saturday Brunch. The wait was expected with the parking lot as full as it was, however the table of 5 being sat with no wait due to the hostess being away from her stand and a wait staff member taking over and seating ahead of my party of 2 should have served as an ominous sign. My party was sat at a table in the dining room portion of the restaurant near probably the most annoying table of drunks in Little Rock on a Saturday afternoon. My table for two had myself sat in the main walkway, as it was positioned flush with the corner of the dining room entrance, to the right, against the back of the first booth. Our orders were taken promptly, and our waitress was outstanding, even with handling the request to move us while we wait on what is now a to go order, due to having been over annoyed by the table of drunks. At this time I would love to comment on the food, I doubt it's of poor quality, however for the cost, this isn't a restaurant I would ever recommend due to the atmosphere.

Back again (having worked in the restaurant business, I give establishments with potential multiple opportunities to "wow" me), but this time for lunch. Waited, waited, waited for service. A lady gave me a water, little did I know that this was my waitress. I found this out 11 minutes after being seated, at which time I was able to order an appetizer for our table and something to drink. Hey, on the upside, the glass of water came in a timely fashion. Once she connected with us, our waitress was a very nice young lady. She was paying attention to when we were engrossed in conversation, not talking over us like many do, but she should have introduced herself as our waitress. How simple, right? So, from stalled introduction to body of our meal. It was not bad. My toasted cheese ravioli was a nice, tasty lunch. My lunch guests got: A - soup with no bread B - chicken salad with no chicken Meanwhile, I was having to use my knife to stir my iced tea and while doing so I spied a man at an adjacent table grabbing a roll of silverware so he could eat his meal. At the same time, another gentleman had gotten up from his seat to request dressing for his salad. Note: the restaurant was not "in the weeds," or slammed as many would say. The level of demand was not such that this staff could not pay closer attention to the simple details. Come on, a chicken salad without the chicken? Salad without its dressing? Silver??? Once we navigated the hiccups, we enjoyed our meal. Then, in keeping with tradition, we sat on the tarmac for a lengthy period just waiting for the check. Ugh! As in my past review, oh what could be! If the team at Red Door, led by a rededicated Mark Abernathy, could commit to being exceptional, this place could start to slide the OTHER way on the continuum. Today's experience was not good, whatsoever Red Door. I look forward to improvements and a more pleasant dining experience when I return.

The service is usually top notch and the brunch is delicious! Their deck is wonderful if the weather is nice and the atmosphere inside is always enjoyable. It tends not to be too busy before dinner and the cheese dip is to die for! One of my absolute favorite brunch spots!

We've eaten at Red Door several times and have never had a bad experience. Service is always good, food is always delicious, and decent wine prices. I also like that they offer half size entrees. We love the mac and cheese bites and the crème brulee.

I went to Red Door for dinner with a group of about 12 people, and considering the size of our party and the fact that it was a busy night, the service was pretty good. Glasses stayed full and the waiter gave everyone good suggestions for what to order. I got "The Outrage" which was an awesome steak sandwich with a fried egg

My sisters live in LR and whenever I come to visit, I like to try new restaurants. The Red Door has been on my list. I decided to go with the stuffed orange roughy which was on special of the day list with RD mac N cheese and roasted asparagus. The stuffed orange roughy is a white fish stuffed with a lobster-crab cake topped with citrus caper buerre blanc, which was delicious! It comes with a lemon wedge, which I recommend not to squeeze the lemon on the fish because the sauce already has citrus in it. The mac and cheese was good, however my roasted asparagus was too salty and the portion size could of been bigger. I had about 4 asparagus. I would of liked at least 5 or 6 spears. ~$25 My sister also choose something from the special of the day, the black broiled grouper with sauted seasonal vegetables and combo fries. She also enjoyed her dish but the grouper --portion size was too small for her. ~$25 My other sister got the Baja fish tacos and choose the cod over the mahi mahi. She said it was okay, and likes The Fold fish tacos better. This dish came with 2 tacos, combo fries and cole slaw which you are not allow to substitute the sides for this dish. ~$17 We shared a chocolate creme brulee which also was delicious! ~$6 The service was overall very good. Price wise, I think it is a bit over priced. In my opinion, the stuffed orange roughy is worth the price but not the other 2 dishes.

Chefs in Arkansas need to realize that no matter how great their food is, their restaurant will not survive if their staff is illiterate in customer service. I went to Red Door today for lunch and was told that they stopped serving lunch at 2pm. A quick check of my phone revealed that it was 1:55pm. I asked why they had lunch until 2 if they didn't plan on staying open until then and the girl explained that they hadn't had a table in an hour. I suggested that the reason why their lunch was failing might be due to the fact that they were turning away people, thus alienating possible clientele. The girl shrugged and said it could be. I am now enjoying a delicious and delightful club sandwich at the Buffalo Grill. The Buffalo Grill has been around for years and the service is always friendly and efficient and the food is freshly prepared. Avoid the Red Door and drive the extra block.

this is another stunning disappointment - i ordered the delmonico rib eye and received a mass of gristle that was under 1/2 inch thick. seriously, a ribeye that was less than 1/2 inch thick. a real "delmonico" steak is at least 2 inches thick. on top of that it was a terrible cut, greasy - not marbled - tough and chewy. our waiter was attentive but the management needs to look people over. if you are serving food you should not be wearing skin tight tee shirts, be dirty, unshaven and busting out of your clothes. please look neat and clean. this restaurant is loud and has the feel of an ihop that was converted to a slightly more upscale restaurant. there is no originality here, its simply terrible. i know i give a lot of negative reviews on little rock restaurants but many, like this one, are piss-poor. if you find yourself considering red door, drive another 1/2 block and go to faded rose or maddies place - both vastly superior restaurants.

Menu has improved quite a bit over the last year, and it works. Nothing will absolutely blow your mind, but there are solid options that are done very well. I recommend the Julia Childs roasted chicken. For those used to large portions (guilty), it seems a little pricey for the size. But, the chicken is excellent and the sides were delicious (asparagus and mashed potatoes). And, after finishing, I was glad the portion was moderate...too much of a good thing, right? More of a 3.5 than a 4. But, definitely worth your time and money.

Very cozy place to have breakfast. The Old Southern was a good hearty meal, their Bloody Mary drinks are very spicy and made perfectly. Also, tried the blue berry pancakes which were very fluffy and the maple syrup was very good. Seems the Red Door uses all fresh ingredients. The wait staff is very friendly and knew exactly how to take care of us. I was a waiter at one time so I am picky. The waitress that served us was very good. I gave this restaurant 3 stars because it's my first time, going back for dinner to see if it's worth 4. If the food and experience is the same as breakfast I will have no choice but to give it 4 stars. I hope the experience is equalled.

Had lunch/brunch here a couple weeks ago to brighten the mood of a rainy afternoon, and found one of my preferred restaurants in the city. Had the Huevos Rancheros, which, while it wasn't in my preferred configuration, was pretty good. My wife had some pancakes that were pretty tasty. Also, 312 on tap gives the rating a bit of a boost. Service wasn't bad, but it seemed like she was slightly distracted at times.

I've only been here once, and it was hugely disappointing. It's a great space in a good location with a nice menu (thus I'm generously rating it two stars). Alas, every dish we ordered lacked flavor, while the service was frustratingly slow and distant. Maybe they had an off night and I should give it another try, but there are too many other good restaurants around for me to have bothered to venture back to the Red Door again.

The food here is good. Very good. They just do not have a great menu selection. It seems like they are trying to have a little bit of everything, and it was hard to find something that really had the wow factor I look for. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, and they were phenomenal. My fiance ordered one of the specials, the lamb, for his entree and it turned out they were out of it. He got the sea bass instead. I had the salmon. We both ordered the small plates (and he got a side of roasted asparagus... 3 spears of asparagus, FYI...) and they were definitely small. I'm very concerned about portion size (I eat off the kids menu at Wendy's), so it wasn't so much the size of the food that left me stunned, it was the size of the food with a $16.95 price tag. I love Salmon and eat it EVERYWHERE, and this was an absolutely horrible value. The service was very slow, which was interesting because they weren't busy. Our waitress had one other table that we could see and completely forgot my fiance's second beer. But, the food was very good. And so were the drinks. I ordered the drink special, the Sangria, and it was fantastic.

3 stars is just a little too generous. I dined in maybe 2 years ago and was not impressed enough to return until last week. We ordered takeout. I ordered the chicken alfredo casserole, mac & cheese, sauteed veggies and my husband ordered baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and a vegetable. The sides were amazing. I would actually recommend the vegetable plate. The Julia Child herb chicken, however, was underwhelming and priced excessively. (Any home cook can do that chicken @ $.89/lb. retail, there's little reason for 2 small quarters with potatoes and veg to cost $17. It's not a high price for an entree, it's just too high for simple baked chicken. The alfredo casserole was bland and poorly constructed. The sauce laid on top of the pasta which was dotted with very few small pieces of chicken and a few slices of portabella mushrooms and topped with a large layer of cheese. There was very little flavor--I could detect no garlic--it tasted merely of cream and cheese. Reheated the next day, the casserole was much more cohesive and, had it been properly flavored, would have been edible. As it was, I ate just enough not to offend my poor husband who bought it and brought it home. The serving size was huge, however, and took up the whole take-out box. With sides coming with so many dishes, it would make more sense to serve a half-portion of this and offer a side of vegetables and/or a salad since it is very, very heavy and inclusive sides are standard on the rest of the menu.

I come here all the time for lunch with coworkers and each time it's great. We ALWAYS get the cheese dip - it's the best in all of Little Rock. (That is a really high compliment coming from someone from Texas - we take our queso very seriously!) My only complaint is that sometimes the fries are just not fresh - cold and limp :( If this happens to you, ask them to bring you fresh ones!

This place is fine, but it's not GREAT. We had an okay meal there. My pasta was fine, but I kept thinking of the other places in LR we could have gone...plus, the front dining room is VERY loud - we were a party of 4 20-somethings and we could barely hear each other.

Decent at best. We had a group of four go one evening (I think it was a saturday), and the experience was pretty lackluster. We sat in the front room (and unless we came in the wrong entrance, I definitely did not even come through a RED DOOR!), and it was crowded and loud. I ordered something called the serious fish sandwich or something like that. I'll give that it was pretty serious, a fairly large fish patty. However it was overcooked and quite dry - which turned out to be the theme for our meal. Another friend got chicken that was overcooked. Another person in the group ordered lamb - the portions were quite small for the price, but he said it was cooked well The service was relatively slow, but they were crowded. I won't be going back, especially not with all the other restaurants within a block of red door. I just don't think the highlight of my dinner should be the $4 wine special (the glasses were quite full).

I've given this place numerous chances to change my mind - but every time I end up leaving and wishing that I had gone next door to Loca Luna. The food is ok, but the portions are tiny and expensive. For the price, I would expect MUCH better food. Overall, this place is trying to be a fine-dining restaurant, but fails miserably. From the decor to the mediocre food and lackluster wait staff, it's just not worth the price. If they cut the prices in half, I'd go back and probably be satisfied. But I don't foresee that happening, so I don't plan on going back.

My wife and I just had dinner at Mark Abernathy's new venture (replacing the lackluster Bene Vita). We enjoyed our experience and will certainly be back. The ambiance was unfussy but classy. The service was adequate (a bit slow at times, thoughtful at others). The menu was interesting and eclectic w/o being eccentric or over-sized. The beer menu was better than average, but not impressive. I had a "Shock Top" which is a Belgian Wit-style beer made by Michelob, which I was previously unfamiliar with. It was certainly tasty for a Michelob product, and in fact on par with a Blue Moon. My wife had a glass of Kenwood Yupala Brut (sparkling wine). Which she thought was good, but a touch overpriced. (not sure what she was expecting from champage by-the-glass at an upscale dinner restaurant). I had the Tuscan Peasant White Bean Soup, which was simple, light, and tasty. A good way to begin the meal. My wife had the French Onion Soup and thought it was tasty (she has now corrected me and insisted that I say, "scrumptious"). I had the herb-roasted chicken on buttermilk mashed potatoes. The chicken skin was nicely crisp, and the chicken was cooked, but moist. The potatoes had a nice consistency and simple potato flavor. If I had a complaint about my entree, it would be that it could have used a little more salt. My wife had the halibut over thai black rice. The fish was slightly overcooked, particularly around the edges. The rice was bland and a bit glutinous (perhaps that is expected for this style of rice, I don't know). We both shared a piece of the new york cheesecake for dessert. while not the best cheesecake we've had, it was certainly tasty and none was left on the plate. One feature of the menu is that each entree can be order in two different sizes. We both got the smaller sizes (which are also cheaper) and were happy to see that for the first time in years, we were able to eat the entire entree w/o being unpleasantly full. Thank you Mr. Abernathy for sensible portions!

I went here for dinner for the first time since the changeover from Bene Vita to Red Door, and was pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the menu had plenty of options to choose from. They offer Small or Large portions, and charge about $4 to split a plate. My Baja Fish Taco (I chose Cod instead of Mahi Mahi) was good enough when I added the pica de gallo and a little bit of chipotle tarter sauce (I prefer regular tarter sauce and a bit of shredded lettuce on my fish tacos). It came with Combo Fries (pommes frites and sweet potato fries) which were absolutely delicious! I swapped the Coleslaw with Mac-n-Cheese (only because it came highly recommended by a friend), and probably would have been happy eating an entire serving of just the cheesy, gooey, uber flavorful elbow pasta! The three friends I dined with on this particular Friday evening were all just as satisfied with their food - portions, flavor, quality... delicious! The only downside is that their smoking section is on the patio, which you have to walk through to get in/out of the restaurant... so unless the smokers are taking a break you're no doubt going to be on the receiving end of second-hand smoke. Ick.

This is a really great place. I've had the Fried Pepperoni pizza and it was so good. Plan to go back there to try more items. I saw someone eating the CUBAN PORK TENDERLOIN (Thick Grilled Pork Medallions, Cuban BBQ Sauce, Grilled Onions and Peppers, Jalapeno Jack Cheese, Aioli on a Fresh Baked Brioche Hoagie) and it looked amazing.

After another night at a Travelers gmaes, my friend and I decided to try out The Red Door. Being from France, he is a huge foodie and loves awesome food. This turned out to be a very unsual dining experience. Not in a bad way but in a 'never had this happen before' kinda way. My frined had ordered a bottle of Chardonny and it was wonderful. For the life of me I cant remember the name of it. I am thinking Jordan something. Anyway, we started out with the lobster crab cakes with a lemon and caper burre blanc. They were nicley presented but I felt that they lacked either flavor. It was kinda like I couldnt taste either lobster or crab. But they were very flavorful. Just could not define which was which. I guess thats why they are called lobster and crab and not lobster with crab. A great flavor nonetheless. After the starter, my friend ordered the Bena Vita Meatball and I ordered the Red Door Halibut. Mikael made several comments about how wonderful the meatballs and pasta were. I went straight for the fish and man it was outstanding. Nicely seared, flaky and just wonderful. The burre blanc was the perfect complimant to this fish. However, the thai rice, well was bland. It had no flavor at all. When I hear Thai, the last thing I am expecting is something to be bland. A nice slight heat would have made this dish ever more wonderful But the overall burre blanc and fish was perfect. I just pushed the Tahi rice aside. Our server asked us if we wanted to try dessert. She asked us if we wanted either white or dark chocolate creme brulee. Well since chocolate isnt an ingredient in creme brulee we decided to order the white chocolate thinking that it was going to be the original. It came outwith a nice golden hot sugar skin and the inside was a nice creamy white chocolate base filling. Not the usual cream and vanilla custard but it was very tasty. The dinner was outstanding. Here comes the unusual part of the evening. Our server who was fantastic brought the bill. Well, since I had paid for lunch and the tickets to the game, My friend decided to get the dinner bill. He is my largest customer and I felt like I should pick up the tab. He insisted that he buy so, I let him. In France, the price you see is what is paid. he is aware of 'tipping' in America but he doesnt understand the the proper amount. He has always rounded the bill to the nearest dollar amount and left it at that. We paid and left. Well, we went to Loca Luna next door for an espresso. They sent us back to The Red Door. So we went back. While we were sitting in the bar, the server approached us and asked us if she had done anything wrong or if the meal was substandard. We both agreed that all was fine. I kinda had an idea of where this was going and asked about the tip. She had said that she was just wondering is she had done anything. She wasnt rude or anything just was just wanting to make sure she hadnt upset us. I then aksed her how much of a tip was left and she told me. She wsa very gracious and then walked away. After she left, I talked to my frined and explained to hiim about the tipping and how it works. He was under the impression that servers were paid a wage of around 12- 13 dollars and hour. He thought the tip was not their primary source of income. I informed him that most servers were paid around 2-3 dollars and hour and that they pool thier tips. he was shocked and felt horrible. We called her back over and explained why and how it happened and left the correct tip for the service rendered. At not time was she rude or upset but she was just concerend about her performance. He and I talked about this the entire ride home. The Red Door is an outstanding restaurant with incredible service. It is a must try when in Little Rock.

Went for mothers day brunch at around 10am. I think we just beat the rush because when we left there were tons of people waiting... So come early. Had fried oysters with biscuits and gravy. I think it was a special but they should make it a permanent item on the menu. So good!

I've only been here once for drinks and snacks. I like the SauvignonBlanc from New Zealand. Also, the patio is inviting--seems like a great place for a gathering. They are closed on Sunday's, which was a shock. I expected a brunch there because of all the breakfast billboards.

FYI.

We've eaten at Red Door several times and have never had a bad experience. Service is always good, food is always delicious, and decent wine prices. I also like that they offer half size entrees. We love the mac and cheese bites and the crème brulee.

This place is fine, but it's not GREAT. We had an okay meal there. My pasta was fine, but I kept thinking of the other places in LR we could have gone...plus, the front dining room is VERY loud - we were a party of 4 20-somethings and we could barely hear each other.
